The name lease is up on what is currently known as Las Vegas Hilton, and which has been known for over 30 years. But the Hilton hotel chain has decided to terminate their relationship Beginning Jan. 1, 2012, the hotel will change from the Hilton name to another undertermined name, which would be announced in a few months. The property is privately owned by private equity firm Colony Capital. Could it be the Las Vegas Super 8? Unlikely, but we do suspect a major hotel brand will snap them up like, say, Marriott.
