Every three years the world’s construction equipment manufacturers bring their wares to the Las Vgeas Convention Center for an expo that attracts more than 125,000 attendees. This is the show with the giant dump trucks that are bigger than your house, cranes so tall they disappear into the cloud cover and even a concrete finishing machine that the operator rides.
Familiar brand names like Cat, John Deere, Case, Volvo and Kawasaki display the latest in machines designed to make our lives better through the continuous modernization and renewal of our standard of life. Fliupchip was there and sent back some of his views from this exhibit of engineering marvels. The equipment show packs up and leaves for another three years after the closing on Friday.
